Courage Aghedo

Courage Aghedo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as Principal Engineer | Mission Systems Engineering at Seaspan ULC, a role they began in 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Technical Lead at Seaspan from March 2017 to 2021. Before joining Seaspan, Courage worked as a Senior Subsea Project Engineer at Technip Canada Limited from 2012 to 2016. Courage also held the position of Project Manager at Trelleborg Offshore UK from July 2007 to July 2012. Earlier in their career, Courage worked as a Project and Contracts Engineer at Pipeline Engineering UK in 2006 and as a Well Engineer at Shell Petroleum Development Company from 1999 to 2004.

Courage Aghedo has pursued their education in the field of engineering with a focus on subsea engineering, mechatronics engineering, and mechanical engineering. Courage holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin. Afterwards, they pursued Postgraduate Studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos. Following this, they undertook a Master's degree in Subsea Engineering and Management at Newcastle University, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechatronics Engineering, also from Newcastle University.
