John McCarthy

John McCarthy serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Program Officer at Seaspan ULC, leading New Construction programs for the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Coast Guard. McCarthy also operates McCarthy Consulting Group LLC as President, offering a wide range of consulting services in the U.S. Previously, McCarthy held the position of Vice President for Planning and Information Technology at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works, overseeing multiple planning and information technology functions across the shipyard. Earlier roles include Director of Preoutfit & Material Control and Director of Planning at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Bowdoin College.
