Rob Armstrong is an experienced marine professional with a career spanning over three decades in various roles within the towing and marine services industry. Armstrong began as a Tug Boat Captain and Mate Deckhand at Pacific Towing Marine Services from November 1986 to May 2001, followed by a position at Sealink Marine until April 2003. At Seaspan Marine ULC, Armstrong held the position of Manager Vessel Operations from April 2003 to November 2021 and later served as Director Vessel Operations for a brief period in December 2024. Additionally, Armstrong worked as Vessel Operations Superintendent at SAAM Towage from December 2021 to April 2024. Armstrong earned a 500t Master Certificate from BCIT Marine Campus between 1989 and 1990.
