Charo Campomanes Álvarez

Charo Campomanes Álvarez serves as the Data Science Chapter Lead and Senior Data Scientist at SEAT CODE since November 2021, while also working as an External Assessor Reviewer for Erasmus+ projects with the European Commission since January 2019. As a Collaborator Professor at Universidad Europea de Valencia since June 2023, Charo teaches Data Science and previously held a position as Professor-Tutor at UNED from February 2021 to February 2022. Charo’s extensive research experience includes roles as an R&D Researcher and Senior Data Scientist at CTIC Technology Centre and as a Collaborator Researcher at Birkbeck, University of London, focusing on machine learning, social network analysis, and algorithm development. Charo completed a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oviedo, where previous academic qualifications include multiple master's degrees and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
