What is Seatec HIROSHIMA?
Our main objective is to update all the industries related to the sea by using barnacles, a common issue in the sea, as a starting point to create data about the sea. Hiroshima is the best place to identify and create solutions for marine issues, as it has all of them: fisheries, manufacturing, and shipbuilding. We will create synergies that cannot be created anywhere else in Hiroshima Prefecture, solve problems through our platform "Seatec HIROSHIMA," and make Hiroshima the home of marine technology.

The future (vision) we envision
Our vision is to create a sustainable marine industry by connecting people around the world with the ocean through technology. We want to make all industries related to the sea a sustainable industry. We will update the marine environment from the sea of Hiroshima to the rest of the world by constructing Seatec HIROSHIMA, a marine fisheries platform that allows anyone, anytime, anywhere to retrieve necessary data.

Mission to be fulfilled
In Japan, where the population is aging, the physical workload of the fishing industry is becoming increasingly burdensome, and sustainable business operations are becoming increasingly difficult. In Japan, where the population is aging, the physical workload of the fisheries industry is becoming increasingly burdensome, and sustainable business operations are becoming increasingly difficult. We will achieve digital transformation (DX) of the fisheries industry from labor-intensive to knowledge-intensive through the active use of a variety of advanced technologies.
