Gavin Emery

Gavin Emery has over 10 years of experience in software engineering. In 2010, they began their career as a Software Support Engineer at NextDocs Corporation, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and resolving software issues. In 2011, they became the Lead Programmer at Divine Software, LLC, where they worked with a remote team to publish two App Store titles and provided backend infrastructure for the company's games. In 2015, they became the Manager of Software Development at 11 Health & Technologies Limited, where they designed, developed, and maintained four mobile apps. In 2017, they joined BaseStone as a Software Engineer, spearheading the effort to provide native iOS integration with custom in-house React Native components and modules. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Seatfrog as a Senior Software Engineer, helping to identify key performance and stability issues within the company's iOS and Android apps, proposing the use of MVC and MVVM patterns, and hosting sprint retrospectives.

Gavin Emery attended Red Rocks Community College from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science.
