Jake Lee

Jake Lee has a diverse work experience. Jake started their career as an Intern at BD Network in 2009. Jake then worked as a Sales Associate at Steamer Trading Ltd from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined First Option Software as a Software Engineer, where they specialized in Android development and also managed a major client. From 2017 to 2018, Jake was the Co-Founder and CTO of Creators.Direct, where they led the development of various products and managed servers and security protocols. In 2018, they joined ingenie as a Senior Android Developer, responsible for major app launches and ongoing development. In 2019, Jake worked at Candyspace as a Senior and later as a Lead Android Developer, achieving high ratings and low crash rates for ITV Hub. Jake also managed a team and implemented several major app features. From 2020 to 2021, Jake worked at Metro Bank (UK) as the Lead Mobile Developer (Android). Jake then joined Photobox in 2021 as a Principal Android Engineer, and later served as the Principal Android Engineer / Interim Engineering Manager, and then as an Engineering Manager until 2023. Currently, Jake is a Staff Android Engineer at Seatfrog since 2023.

Jake Lee earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bedfordshire, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Technology Management at The Open University Business School, starting in 2021 and expecting to complete in 2024. Additionally, Jake obtained several certifications, including the Associate Android Developer certification from Google Developers in April 2018, the MCSE: Data Management and Analytics certification from Microsoft in June 2017, the MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 certification from Microsoft in July 2016, and the MTA: Database Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2015. Jake also acquired the Google Play Store Listing Certificate from Google Play Academy in March 2022.
