John Ball

CEO & Co-Founder at SeatonHill

John Ball is a co-founder and CEO of SeatonHill and has worked in the CFO services industry for nearly 20 years.

John’s business career began at Samsonite Corporation where over the course of 10 years he held several financial management positions in their corporate headquarters, Furniture Division, and finally as Division Controller for the Consumer Products Division of Beatrice Foods, then Samsonite's parent.

Since then John has served as CFO, COO, and CEO in a variety of industries. He was CEO and led the turnaround of the largest marine construction and repair company in Hawaii whose primary customer was the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor. Prior to that, he was COO and CFO of a manufacturer of custom voice/data communication systems for control center environments in commercial and military markets. And, as CFO of an electronic systems manufacturer, he was instrumental in bringing the company from near bankruptcy to a Forbes Up and Comer company in three years.

John holds a BBA in accounting and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University. He authored Corporate Mission Control, Linking People to Mission, about how businesses can adapt processes proven effective over 50 years for NASA’s Mission Control Center in Houston.
