Planned Effects:

The project involves the development of a hanger and a rotary adapter for fire extinguishers. This is a groundbreaking product that has never been manufactured or utilized anywhere before, thus introducing innovation on a global scale. Despite its simple construction, this product will serve a crucial function during routine fire extinguisher maintenance. Fire extinguishers are standard equipment on all vessels, industrial facilities, drilling platforms, etc. However, the need for regular maintenance poses significant challenges. Servicing fire extinguishers, which typically weigh from several to several dozen kilograms, requires rotation to agitate the extinguishing powder. This exertion often leads to frequent spinal injuries and even permanent health issues for service personnel. The project aims to develop a device that will entirely eliminate the risk of injuries to technicians, damage to fire extinguishers, and mitigate costs incurred by ship owners or employers in terms of compensation and employee loss.
