Alexander Ruben, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management & Investments Risk at SEB since October 2022. Prior to this role, Alexander held various positions at SEB from July 2007 to June 2022, including Head of Risk Oversight for Norway, the US & UK, and Head of Life Risk Control, focusing on asset liability management for SEB's insurance companies and defined benefit plans. Alexander began the career as a Quantitative Risk Analyst, dealing with market and credit risk. Additionally, Alexander worked as a teaching assistant in Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in early 2007. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has studied at EPFL from 2005 to 2006.
