Arturs Barbars

Arturs Barbars has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Regulatory Coordinator and Agile Product Owner at SEB since 2006, where responsibilities include IT system management and project coordination for back office systems related to FX and derivatives. In addition to this role, Arturs is also an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at RISEBA University, contributing to academia since September 2020, with expertise in organizational psychology and work engagement research, further complemented by the founding of Valuable Work in 2018 to focus on this research area. Arturs holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management from Banku Augstskola, along with an MBA in Economics, Finance, and Management. Furthermore, Arturs founded a martial arts school, Rīgas Austrumu cīņu klubs, in 2010.
