Benjamin Swedberg

Benjamin Swedberg is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Trade Finance and Country Manager for Singapore at SEB since April 2019. Prior to this role, Benjamin held various senior positions at Swedbank from April 2012 to March 2019, including Head of Markets and Head of Global Transaction Services, overseeing areas such as Trade and Export Finance, Cash Management, and Transaction banking. Benjamin's extensive career at SEB from 1995 to March 2012 included leadership roles in Trading & Capital Markets for Germany and Eastern Europe, as well as various client executive positions. Benjamin began the professional journey as a Country Analyst at EKN Exportkreditnämnden from May 1993 to November 1995. An alumnus of the Stockholm School of Economics, Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Economics, earned between 1989 and 1993.
