Emīls Volgasts

Emīls Volgasts is an experienced AML Business Analyst at SEB since June 2021, focusing on advanced data analyses for transaction monitoring systems and enhancing AML detection capabilities. Previously served as a Junior AML Monitoring Officer at SEB, investigating customer activities and improving processes. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant of Lending and Corporate Finance at Baltic International Bank SE, Research Assistant at the University of Latvia, and various internships in business advisory and finance. Emīls holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management and Leadership from the University of Latvia and Groupe ESC Troyes, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing from the University of Latvia. Emīls also contributed to university governance and student representation through various leadership roles.
