Niclas Einarsson

Niclas Einarsson is an experienced leader in financial crime prevention and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Financial Crime Prevention International at SEB since October 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing local units outside Sweden and establishing new units across multiple European cities. Prior roles at Danske Bank included head positions in 1st Line Risk for both Nordic and Swedish operations, where significant structural initiatives were undertaken to strengthen financial crime risk management. Einarsson's expertise also spans product management and advisory roles in FinTech, as well as extensive project management experience in compliance and regulatory frameworks during tenures at Nordea and BearingPoint. Einarsson holds a Master of Science in Business & Economics from Uppsala University.
