Steffen Robertz

Steffen Robertz has worked as an IT Security Consultant at SEC Consult Group since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at the Chair of Integrated Analog Circuits and RF Systems, RWTH Aachen University from January 2017 to November 2019. Steffen also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Institute For Man-Machine Interaction, RWTH Aachen from April 2016 to November 2019. Previously, they were employed as a Systemadministrator at Beyond Communications from December 2014 to November 2019.

Steffen Robertz completed a Master of Science degree in Technische Informatik from RWTH Aachen University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Kommunikationstechnik/Techniker from the same university, completing it from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Steffen Robertz has obtained several certifications. Steffen became an Offensive Security WebExpert (OSWE) through OffSec in June 2023. In March 2022, they earned the Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester (OSEP) certification also from Offensive Security. Prior to that, in April 2021, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security. Furthermore, in January 2021, they achieved the CREST Practitioner Security Analyst certification from CREST, followed by the CREST Registered Penetration Tester certification in April 2021.
