Neil Painter

Neil Painter has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Neil is currently working as an Intelligence Consultant at Security Alliance Limited, a cyber threat intelligence company. Prior to this, they worked as an Environmental Crime Officer at the Environment Agency. Neil also gained experience as a Physical Security Specialist at Colt Technology Services and as a Security Assurance Lead Auditor at the UK Ministry of Defence. Neil has also worked as a self-employed Security Consultant and provided risk management services to various clients. Additionally, they have worked as a Security Specialist at G4S Risk Management, providing security management services to high net worth clients in Iraq. Neil's earlier roles include positions at the UK Ministry of Defence where they worked as a Security Assurance Auditor, Intelligence Analyst, and in various junior management roles.

Neil Painter attended Staffordshire University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intelligence & International Relations.

In terms of additional certifications, they completed Bellingcat OSINT Training in September 2022, OSINT training by Fortalice Solutions, LLC in June 2022, Data Analysis for Management course at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in May 2022. Neil also became a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management in October 2019 and obtained certification in Cybersecurity (CC) from (ISC)² in September 2022.
