Mika Riepponen has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Software Developer at Secapp since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at Secapp from September 2021 to March 2023 and as a Software Developer Trainee from May 2021 to August 2021. Before transitioning to the tech field, Mika worked as a Registered Nurse at Keski-Suomen sairaanhoitopiiri (KSSHP) Central Finland Health Care District from March 2018 to July 2019. Mika also held a similar role at the same organization from March 2015 to August 2016. Additionally, Mika worked as a Registered Nurse at Tampere University Hospital in September 2014 and briefly in June to August 2014. Mika gained experience as a Nurse at Tampereen kaupunki - City of Tampere in June and July 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Practical Nurse at Hatanpään sairaala, Tampereen kaupunki (currently under PSHP) in June and July 2012, and as a Nursing Assistant at Ylisen hoiva-ja kuntoutuspalvelut, PSHP in June and July 2011. Mika also completed their Military Service at Puolustusvoimat - Försvarsmakten - Finnish Defence Forces from January to September 2010.
Mika Riepponen obtained a Master's degree in Software Development from the University of Jyväskylä between 2019 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Nursing from Tampere University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2014. In the earlier years, between 2006 and 2009, Mika pursued a vocational qualification in ICT and also completed their matriculation exam from Jyväskylä Vocational School and Cygnaeus Upper Secondary School.
