Alpha Barry

Alpha Barry has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alpha currently serves as the CEO of secida AG since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at thyssenkrupp from 2013 to 2019, holding several leadership roles. Alpha was the Head of Group Infrastructure & Security from October 2017 to December 2019 and the Managing Director of Digital Projects from November 2016 to December 2019. In addition, they held positions such as Head of Strategy, Governance, and Security / Group Processes and Information Technology from July 2016 to September 2017 and Head of Transformation Office from March 2015 to July 2016. Before joining thyssenkrupp, Alpha Barry worked at thyssenkrupp Management Consulting as a Principal from June 2012 to June 2013. Prior to this, they served as the CFO of Out There Media from October 2009 to May 2012. Alpha Barry began their career at McKinsey&Company, Inc. where they worked as an Associate Principal from September 2003 to October 2009. Alpha also gained experience as a CFO at 4flow AG from May 2000 to August 2003. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Associate at McKinsey&Company, Inc. from February 1999 to April 2000.

Alpha Barry completed their education from 1992 to 1998 at Technische Universität Berlin. During this time, they obtained a diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management.
