Steven Roose is currently the Co-founder and CEO of Second, a position held since 2024. Prior to this, Steven was a Core Engineer at Blockstream from 2018 to 2023. Steven holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from KU Leuven, earned in 2013, and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science, also from KU Leuven, completed in 2016. They began their educational journey at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Westmalle, attending from 2004 to 2010.
