Nicki Broderick

Nicki Broderick is a Senior Producer at Second Dinner Studios. Prior to that, they were an Instructor at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education, where they helped design and curate the first Esports certificate program. Her focus was on developing the 3rd course for Esports Project Management: Live Events. The course is a 6-week long class focused on helping students expand their knowledge of the industry overall, and diving deeper into event structures and roles from a Project Management perspective. Each week focuses on a specific time frame for Esports programs - starting with program design and kickoff, planning, execution, the live event, and wrap-up.

Before their work at UCI, Nicki Broderick was the Narrative Game Program Founder at Chapman University and the Program Manager for BlizzCon at Blizzard Entertainment. Nicki started their career in the gaming industry as a Game Tester Intern at Blizzard Entertainment.

Nicki Broderick holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Creative Writing from Chapman University and a certification from Blizzard Entertainment in ISTQB (Certified Tester, Foundation Level). Nicki also has a certification from Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master and another certification from Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner.
