Nicholas Downey

Nicholas Downey has work experience as a Software Engineer at Second Front Systems starting from July 2022. Prior to that, they worked in the US Army where they held multiple roles including Travel Program Coordinator and Light Infantry Mortar Section Leader, starting from January 2012 and August 2012 respectively.

Nicholas Downey pursued their Bachelor's degree in Software Development & Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a four-year program that began in 2019 and is expected to conclude in 2023. In addition to their degree, Nicholas has obtained several certifications in the field of IT. Nicholas earned the CompTIA A+ ce Certification in May 2020, followed by the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in June 2020. In November 2020, Nicholas obtained further certifications, including the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, and the CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification from CompTIA.
