Tim Carter has a diverse work experience in various positions. Tim was the President of Second Nature since September 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Founding Director of the Center for Urban Ecology at Butler University from May 2009 to September 2014. Tim also worked at The University of Georgia as a Public Service Research Faculty member in the Odum School of Ecology from May 2006 to May 2009, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher from August 2006 to July 2007.
Tim Carter earned a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with honors in Ecology from The University of Georgia, completing it in 2006.
