Joonas Koivisto

Joonas Koivisto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a journalist for the official magazine of the Finnish Defence Forces, where they wrote articles for both online and print publications. In 2014, they gained experience as a cashier at a Hesburger restaurant and also assisted in the kitchen and trained new employees.

From 2017 to 2020, Joonas worked as a managing editor for Varusmiesliitto ry, where they were responsible for assigning work to freelancers, writing articles, and editing content for the magazine. In 2019, they joined Yle, Finland's national broadcast company, where they primarily worked as an editor and occasionally as a multimedia editor. In this role, they wrote articles, took photos, filmed and edited clips for TV news, and created audio for radio broadcasts.

In 2020, Joonas took on a role as a journalist at Teknavi, where they focused on tech journalism, writing reviews, and producing videos. Joonas worked as an employee until November 2021 and continued as a freelancer afterwards.

From June to August 2021, they worked as a video producer at Lumon Oy, where they created videos about the company's products for external use and materials for internal communications.

In November 2021, Joonas joined Sajucon Oy as a marketing specialist, focusing on written communication, social media marketing, copywriting, and managing web content. Joonas was also involved in marketing planning, content creation, and development for Sajucon.

Currently, Joonas works as a freelance writer and content creator for various clients, specializing in journalism, content creation, and web development. Joonas devotes about 5-10 hours per week to these projects.

In 2022, Joonas will start a new role as a digital marketing specialist at 2NS - Second Nature Security Oy.

Joonas Koivisto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Joonas pursued this degree from 2016 to 2020.
