Jonathan Hoh

Jonathan Hoh, Ph.D., is an accomplished astrophysicist and former NASA researcher with over a decade of experience in ultra-high sensitivity detection systems for deep-space observation. They are currently the Lead Engineering Physicist at Second Order Effects, where they develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Arizona State University, where they also pursued a Master's in Electrical Engineering. Their doctoral research focused on advancing radio and sub-millimeter wave detection technologies and has resulted in significant contributions to the field, including primary authorship on four peer-reviewed articles. Additionally, Jonathan is the CEO of BetaShell LLC and possesses a strong interest in blending the arts with scientific understanding through creative endeavors like charcoal drawing.
