Alan Saul

Alan Saul's work experience begins in 2008 when they worked as a Website Designer at Reliance Precision Mechatronics LLP. In 2009, they worked as a Photographer for the same company. Alan then moved to the University of Sheffield in 2011, where they held two roles: Java Programming Instructor from January to March 2011, and Research Intern from June to August 2011. From 2012 to 2017, Alan Saul was a PhD student in Machine Learning at the University of Sheffield. In 2013, they worked as a Program Manager for the Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS) conference for a year. In 2018, Alan joined Secondmind as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, a position they held until June 2021. Currently, they work at Secondmind as a Research Scientist starting from June 2021.

Alan Saul attended The University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained both a Master's degree and a BSc degree in Computer Science.
