Nick Appleyard is currently the US Country Manager and Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Secondmind, where they lead sales and solutions consulting teams to drive growth and optimize customer success. Previously, Nick held various senior roles at General Dynamics Land Systems and Siemens Digital Industries Software, developing strategies in sales, business development, and customer support within the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and product lifecycle management (PLM) domains. Additionally, as Executive Director of the NAFEMS ASSESS Initiative, Nick collaborates with thought leaders to promote innovation in engineering simulation. They founded Ramsing Digital Engineering Consultants to leverage over three decades of experience in accelerating product development through digital transformation. Nick is also involved with Carnegie Mellon University as the External Advisory Board Chair for the Manufacturing Futures Institute.
