Samuel Willis began their work experience in 2014 as a Student Researcher in Inkjet printing at the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. In 2015, they worked as a Student Researcher in 3D Bioprinting at the same department. Samuel then joined TTP plc in 2016 as an Electrical/Software Engineer for a short period. In 2017, Samuel worked as an Intern at Tractable and later as a Researcher in the Physical Computation Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. In 2018, they were an Intern at Cambridge Bio-Augmentation Systems and became a Co-founder and CTO at Lumi Space. Samuel also participated as an LD11 Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First. In 2019, Samuel joined Secondmind as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and later took on the role of Technical Lead.
Samuel Willis pursued their education starting from 2003 at The Netherhall School & Sixth Form College. Samuel then attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2008 to 2010. Finally, Samuel completed their higher education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering from 2013 to 2018.
