Tom Seeley

Tom Seeley has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Tom started their career as a Systems Administrator at Biowisdom from March 2001 to August 2002. Tom then worked as a Web Infrastructure Specialist at UBS from October 2002 to March 2004.

From March 2004 to March 2007, they served as a Technical Manager at Green Cathedral, where they had responsibilities for IT systems, infrastructure, web design, and hosting operations.

At Jagex, they had multiple roles, including sysadmin team lead from March 2007 to January 2009 and IT Manager from January 2009 to May 2012. In these positions, they built and managed IT teams, ensured compliance with PCI DSS, and developed IT strategies.

Next, they worked as a Linux engineer/administrator on a contract basis at AlertMe.com from May 2012 to September 2012, focusing on infrastructure design and build for a client project involving cloud infrastructure.

Tom then joined Metail as the Head of Technical Operations from October 2012 to May 2017, where they were responsible for driving the strategy and operation of technical operations and support functions, and designing new infrastructure to deliver efficient and agile services.

Following that, they worked as an Information Security Manager at IT Governance Ltd from May 2017 to March 2018, focusing on information security management.

Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations and Security at Secondmind, starting from April 2018.

Tom Seeley attended the University of Warwick from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Electronic Engineering. Tom did not obtain a degree during this time. In 2015, Tom obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
