Sarah Outland, PhD has a diverse background in research and education across various organizations. Currently serving as a Research Director at GET Cities, Sarah focuses on increasing diversity in tech. Prior to this role, Sarah was a Lead Design Researcher at Girls Who Code and a Research Project Lead at the University of Chicago. With a PhD in Sociology, Sarah's research explores the impact of technology on Gen-Z and educational inequality. As an Adjunct Faculty at Westwood College, Sarah taught courses in Human Relations, Success Strategies, and Career Management. Sarah's extensive experience also includes roles at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Saint Martha's Hall.
