Chris Borland

Chris Borland has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent position was as the Chief Product Officer at SecondSight since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at Civic Champs from March 2019 to February 2022. From 2015 to 2018, Chris worked as a Product Specialist and Outreach Manager at Envisage Technologies LLC, where they managed a team that promoted a training platform for public safety professionals. Before that, they founded and served as the Managing Partner at WhimMill from October 2010 to December 2016. Chris also co-founded and was the CEO of FeetHere LLC from March 2013 to March 2015. Chris had a long tenure at Information in Place, Inc. from October 1999 to April 2010, where they served as the President, CTO, and Co-Founder, overseeing the design and development of technology products. Additionally, Chris gained valuable research experience as a Research Associate and Technician at Indiana University from September 1987 to October 1999. Chris also co-founded Alpha Universe, Inc., where they served as the President from May 1996 to September 1999.

Chris Borland obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Indiana University Bloomington from 1983 to 1988.
