Iqra Altaf is currently working in the Specialised Companies Division within the Lending & Private Fund Department at the SECP since 2025. Previously, they contributed to the Primary Market Approvals and Development Department, where they developed a strong understanding of Pakistan’s capital markets and engaged in extensive research related to IPO frameworks and regulatory improvements. Additionally, they gained comprehensive exposure in the Non-Life Policy and Approvals Department, focusing on the insurance and takaful sector, which enhanced their analytical and regulatory insights. Iqra is also pursuing a Chartered Accountancy degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, expected to be completed in the near future.
