Kamran Khan

Kamran Khan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cyber security. Kamran currently holds the position of Deputy Director (Cyber Security Assessment & CERT Specialist) at SECP since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager (Cyber Security) at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) from January 2023 to November 2023. Kamran also served as a Network Security Officer at KPITB from March 2021 to December 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Cyber Security Lab Instructor (KPCERC) at KPITB from July 2018 to February 2021. Kamran was a Senior Cyber Security Architect at 14Nine from January 2019 to May 2023. Kamran briefly worked as a Cyber Security (Lead Trainer) at Hashoo Hunar in September 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Network Security Engineer at 14Nine from June 2014 to June 2018. Kamran also held the position of Sr. Resident Engineer at New Horizon from September 2013 to May 2014. Their career began as a System/Network Engineer at IT Switchers from January 2009 to August 2013.

Kamran Khan earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained various cybersecurity certifications from institutions such as Google, MITRE Engenuity, EC-Council, and LinkedIn, including certifications in automating cybersecurity tasks with Python, Google CyberSecurity, and EC-Council's Certified Chief Information Security Officer.
