Simon Balder

Simon Balder is an experienced data professional with a comprehensive background in business intelligence and data engineering. Currently serving as a Data Engineer at Ingka Investments since September 2024 and as a BI Consultant/Coach at CEVA Logistics, Simon has successfully implemented an Analytics Datamart utilizing Azure and Tableau. As a freelance Business Intelligence Consultant with BAI Consultancy and a BI Consultant for SECRID, Simon has developed automated product forecasts and analytical tools. Previous roles include Senior Data Analyst at Ingka Centres, Project Manager/BI Coach at SECRID, Backend Developer & Data Analyst at IKEA, and Subject Matter Expert/Lead Data Scientist at IKEA, where significant contributions to analytics initiatives were made. Simon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, complemented by additional studies at Mälardalen University.
