Liz Leahy

Liz Leahy is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in venture capital and mentorship. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Purple Sage Ventures since February 2021, Liz focuses on investing in tech-enabled products and services that have a positive impact on people and the planet. In addition to leading Purple Sage Ventures, Liz serves as the Board Chair and Founding Member of the Georgetown Angel Investor Network, enhancing the Georgetown start-up ecosystem. Liz is also involved with Columbia University as a Lang Center Entrepreneurship & VC Practitioner and Pitch Coach In Residence at the Columbia Startup Lab, providing mentorship and coaching to aspiring entrepreneurs. With a background in angel investing at Growth Strategy Group and prior leadership roles at companies such as Bigfoot Interactive and Section 101, Liz combines a strong foundation in business strategy with a commitment to fostering innovation and social responsibility. Educational credentials include a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
