Matt Simko

Matt Simko has a diverse work experience in the field of video editing and animation. Matt started as a Freelance Video Editor/Animator at Matt Edits, LLC in 2011, and also worked as the Head of Television, Editor/Producer at Fly Communications from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they also freelanced at various companies such as Bark & Co., EdGems Math, Lotus Pictures Inc., Vox Media, LLC, and Brooklinen, taking up roles as a Freelance Editor/Animator. In 2019, they joined Section4 as the Lead Video Editor. Matt later freelanced at TBWA\Media Arts Lab as a Video Editor/Animator from 2021 to 2022. Matt also worked as an Editor/Director of Photography at New York University from 2013 to 2015.

Matt Simko attended Ithaca College from 2007 to 2008, where they studied Cinema Production. Following their time at Ithaca College, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television at New York University from 2008 to 2010.
