Mark Boothman

Mark Boothman has extensive experience in network operations and engineering across various telecommunications companies. Beginning as a Marine Electronics Installation Maintenance and Repair technician at Tom Hand Marine Electronics, Mark progressed through roles such as Senior Microwave Radio and Transmission Engineer at BT Ireland and HFC Networks Engineer at Actavo. Key responsibilities have included network monitoring, upgrading HFC networks, splicing supervision for GPON FTTH, and handling wayleave and consenting processes. Mark has played critical roles in network planning, design, and optimization, with a strong focus on broadband services, microwave radio links, and customer service. Current positions include Wayleaves Officer for Secto Services Limited and involvement with KN Circet's FTTP project. Mark holds a degree from Dublin Institute of Technology.
