Miriam Murphy

CEO, Europe at Secure-24

Miriam joined NTT Ltd. on 3 February 2022, in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, Europe.

In this role, Miriam leads their European businesses using her extensive experience across the region. She brings immediate value to NTT and, most importantly, to its clients. She believes strongly in the power of technology as a business enabler and as an overall force for a good society and economy.

Her experience in business transformation and integration at scale, including go-to-market strategies and workforce enablement, will support their clients and ecosystem, enabling them to supercharge their efforts in Europe at a time of great change.

Miriam joined them from Tech Data where she was a member of their European Executive Board, serving as Senior Vice President, Advanced and Specialized Solutions business, EMEA. Miriam was responsible for the go-to-market strategy and P&L management of this business, which spans the data center and next-generation technology solutions portfolios including cloud, internet of things, analytics, security collaboration and associated services.

Prior to Tech Data Miriam spent 18 years with Avnet, latterly as Senior Vice President for the Technology Solutions business across Northern Europe.

Being based in five European countries throughout her career has given Miriam extensive insights and experience of the region’s culture and opportunities. This will undoubtedly stand her in good stead as she takes on her new role at NTT Ltd.

An Irish native, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from University College Dublin, Miriam has lived in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Belgium throughout her career, relishing in the learning experience of immersing oneself in different cultures throughout that time. She regards herself as a true citizen of Europe.

An avid cook and art lover, she regularly combines those passions with her love of travel.

She has recently relocated from Brussels to London in Spring 2022.
