Bob Armao

Bob was the former COO of Steel Sports from 2012 to 2014 where he was focused on evaluations and executing new investments as well as managing existing portfolio companies. Steel Sports is a division of Steel Partners a private equity firm with $1.5 billion under management. Prior to Steel Sports, Bob was a Director at CRG Partners from 2007-2011 where he was a Turnaround Consultant focused on business assessment over a range of industries and improving performance in many workout and turnaround situations.

Bob was previously the CEO of EBuyer US, which became one of the largest Ecommerce IT sites in the world. Ebuyer was sold in 2006 to Vida Capital. Prior to this Bob was Executive Vice President of Insight Enterprises as well as COO of NEC Technologies. Bob was a founder in several technology businesses including LocalPhone.com.

Bob is a graduate of Bentley College with a B.S. in Finance, and the Purdue Krannert School of Management with a Masters in Business Administration.
