David Mendenhall

David Mendenhall is an advisor at Secure Block Technologies. David has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, holding various positions in sales, product management, and system engineering.

Mendenhall started their career in 1998 as the VP of Marketing and Business Development for HydraWEB Technologies. David then spent three years as the VP of Product Management and System Engineering for 14 South Networks. In this role, they were responsible for developing server blades based on a PCI SBC, patented communication protocols, and an IBM designed ASIC.

In 2004, Mendenhall joined Blue Coat as the Channel Operations Manager for the Southeast US. In this role, they were responsible for growing Blue Coat’s channel business throughout the Southeast US. This included message propagation, sales training, cooperative sales calls, strategic alignment between the partner and Blue Coat, and facilitating the closing of business through the channel partners.

Mendenhall has been with Secure Block Technologies since September 2008 and currently serves as an advisor.

David Mendenhall's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from San Jose State University, a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of the Pacific, and various certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, EC-Council, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Aerohive Networks, Aruba Networks, (ISC)², Proofpoint Inc., Blue Coat Systems, and Brocade.
