Julia Semeniuk

Julia Semeniuk has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance and project management. Julia began their career in 2005 as a Tester at Spline, where they were responsible for testing and updating QA documentation for a web-based search platform. From there, they joined SoftServe, where they served as a QA Analyst, QA Lead, and QA Manager on various projects such as WinZip and SolarWinds. Julia gained experience in testing, creating QA documentation, and collecting metrics.

In 2010, Julia joined Orbis Global as a QA Lead, Senior QA Analyst, and Scrum Master. Julia was involved in setting up QA processes and closely worked with development and product owner teams to review and finalize business and functional requirements.

In 2013, they joined Mediaocean as an APAC QA Manager, where they coached and supported an offshore team in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodology. Julia was also responsible for standardizing QA processes across multiple teams within the organization.

Julia currently works at Secure Code Warrior, where they hold the position of Head of Engineering Delivery in Australia.

Julia Semeniuk obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv's Applied Mathematics and Informatics Department, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn in 2021, ISTQB Agile Tester from ANZTB in 2017, ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Testing (ICP-TST) from ICAgile in 2015, ISTQB (Foundation Level) from ANZTB in 2013, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Agile Scrum Alliance™ in 2011.
