Matias Madou

Matias Madou is the current CTO, Director, and Co-Founder at Secure Code Warrior. Prior to this, Madou was the founder of Sensei Security from November 2015 to June 2017. During that time, Madou and their team built software security solutions to help developers write secure code and prevent software security problems. Before Sensei Security, Madou worked at NVISO cvba from September 2014 to October 2015 as the Lead Software Security Practice and Head of Product Development. At NVISO, Madou created a secure development training course that included in-person classes, CBT components, and certification. In addition to training, Madou also performed threat modelling and provided recommendations on secure development solutions.

Matias Madou has a PhD in Application Security from Ghent University, an MS in Computer Science from Ghent University, and a BS in Computer Science from Ghent University.

They are on a team with Erica Wass - VP, Product, Junie Dinda - Chief Marketing Officer, and Nathan Desmet - Principal Engineer, and Co-Founder. Their manager is Pieter Danhieux, CEO, Chairman, and Co-Founder.
