Imran Asghar

Imran Asghar is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Secure Edge since April 2025, Imran previously held the position of Solutions Architect at Ringerike kommune, where responsibilities included securing infrastructure, datacenter setup, and operational management. Imran has also contributed to academia as an Associate Professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, delivering lectures on sustainability in smart systems. Prior roles include significant contributions as a Senior Network Consultant at Sopra Steria, where complex migrations and datacenter operations were key responsibilities, and various engineering positions focused on IT operations and system administration across multiple organizations. Imran holds a Master's degree in Network and System Administration from the University of Oslo and a Master's in Computer Science from The University of Lahore.
