Joel Pippin

Joel Pippin has worked in the IT industry since 1998. From 1998 to 2005, they worked as an IT Managed Services Provider for Systems Contractors, Inc., providing ongoing operational support of an Industrial Manufacturer for guidance on IT best practices, life-cycle management, and risk mitigation applied to daily process and to backup and disaster recovery processes. Joel also delivered all IT projects on time or ahead of schedule, and managed the SCI IT environment without downtime and within budget.

In 2005, Joel Pippin became President and CEO of Secure Network Administration, Inc., providing Managed IT and Strategic Services - umbrella technology support and consulting for organizations at various stages of growth, regardless of location and whether centralized or decentralized. Joel took a holistic approach to IT strategy and support by managing all IT vendor relationships, providing best practice security, private help-desk services for end users, network infrastructure design and implementation, and ongoing proactive maintenance of technology.

Also in 2005, Joel Pippin was an IT Managed Services Provider for Etigra, LLC, providing daily operational IT management and support, core and ERP infrastructure development and management, eDiscovery services, plus backup and disaster recovery management and risk mitigation. Etigra divested to a global chemical manufacturer, and SecureNA now provides IT support for the local operations.

Joel Pippin received a BS Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a major title in Information Systems Security. Joel continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science in Information Science.
