Ariane Cornell is an established space sector leader in international policy, business development, and strategy, with an extensive network across the international space sector spanning industry, U.S. government, and international agencies. From 2009 to 2012, Ms. Cornell served as the Executive Director of the Space Generation Advisory Council in Vienna, Austria. There, she led the operations, business development, strategy, and policy output for this United Nations-affiliated non-profit organization that represents 4,000 university students and young professionals in 90+ countries in space policy. At Booz Allen Hamilton (Aerospace & Defense), Cornell delivered strategic, executive-level advice based on analysis of markets, policies, and company operations. She also supported post-merger integration streamlining for a rocket company and advised on acquisition strategy for a $10B defense company. During the summer of 2013, Cornell served as an International Strategy Intern at the Sierra Nevada Corporation in Louisville, Colorado, where she supported executive management by driving the development and launch of a new international strategy for Dream Chaser.
As the current Director of Astronaut & Orbital Sales at Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos’ space company in Seattle, Washington, Ms. Cornell focuses on commercial launch services sales for the Americas, and astronaut sales strategy. With management strengths in organizational development, growth, and change, Ms. Cornell led early development of sales, marketing, business processes, communications, and branding activities for Blue Origin.
