Ananya Singhal

Ananya Singhal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ananya began their career as an Architectural Intern at Vaastu Shilpa Design Consultants in 2004 and later worked as a Researcher at INTACH in 2005. During their time at INTACH, they conducted research and developed an inventory of architectural heritage in the city of Udaipur.

In 2007, Ananya joined Vaastu Tatwa as an Architect, where they were involved in architectural projects. Ananya then transitioned to Secure Meters Limited in 2008, taking on the role of Head of Facilities. Over the years, they progressed within the company and held several key positions, including Chief IT and Infrastructure Officer and Chief HR, IT, and Infrastructure Officer. Their responsibilities involved simplifying IT, managing world-class facilities, and overseeing the company's people and services.

In 2020, Ananya was promoted to Joint Managing Director at Secure Meters Limited, responsible for leadership and strategic management of the company. Ananya also served as the Chief People, Services, Design & Communications, and Infrastructure Officer from 2018 to 2021, where they played a vital role in shaping the organization's growth and development in various areas.

In addition to their roles at Secure Meters Limited, Ananya is currently a Managing Partner at studio SAAR, a position they took on in 2021. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong passion for architecture, design, and preserving architectural heritage.

Ananya Singhal completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Honours) degree in Architecture from the University of Bath, from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Bedales School from 1997 to 2002, and The Doon School from 1995 to 1997. No degree or field of study were mentioned for these earlier schools.
