James Garnett

James Garnett has worked in the technology field since 1988. James began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Utility Engineering Corporation in 1988. James then moved to UnixOps as a Sysadmin in 1989. In 1992, they became an Electrical Engineer at Astarté Fiber Networks, where they were primarily involved with the design and programming of the interface computers that told the switch which connections to make. In 1995, they joined CSops as a Sysadmin, where they ran and supported the department's computers and networking equipment. Since 2004, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Secure64 Software, where they are the network attack guru.

James Garnett began their educational journey at the Air Force Academy High School. James then attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1988. James continued their studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving an M.S. in Computer Science in 1999. James concluded their educational journey at the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2004.
