Ricardo Capurro has worked as a software developer since 1991. Ricardo began their career at Grupo Calipso S.A. as a Software Developer. In 1993, they moved to Engion in the same role. In 1994, they joined Banco del Buen Ayre as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed one of the first IVR based banking services with DTMF and Fax support, encryption tunnels for communicating the branches of the bank, and Linux based TCP/IP routing. In 1999, they joined Sofrecom Argentina as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and maintained the system in charge of data collection, validation, filtering, bonding and linking of the daily long-distance call-tickets. In 2000, they joined ATS - Advanced Technology Solutions as a Project Leader, where they led a team of 3 developers working on base software libraries written in ANSI C++, web tools based on Java, and a SIP state-full proxy. In 2006, they moved to Verizon Business as a Technical Leader, where they led a team of 7 developers working on maintaining and enhancing an internal system. In 2012, they joined Medallia, Inc. as a Sr. Software Developer, where they worked on comprehensive social media database management and data acquisition, updating and validation. In 2015, they worked as a Sr. Software Developer C++ at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. and as a Software Developer at Self Employed. In 2017, they joined SecureAuth Corporation as a Specialist C++ Software Developer, where they developed multiplatform software written on C++17 for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux, worked on active network monitoring software capturing and analyzing network packets on real time, and improved and enhanced multi face authentication software for login on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X computers.
Ricardo Capurro obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Buenos Aires between 1987 and 1992.
