Dave Pointon

Dave Pointon is a Cloud Engineer at SecureCloud+ since May 2021, where responsibilities include designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and performance standards. Prior to this, Dave served as a Senior 2nd Line Support Engineer, providing support for HMG Classified systems. Dave's experience spans over two decades in IT, including roles as an SCCM Workplace Technical Specialist and 2nd Line Support Analyst at Atos, where management of device tools and remote user support were key tasks. Earlier career experience as a Threat Specialist at SurfControl involved customer content management for Internet filtering and anti-spam products. Educational qualifications include certifications in ITIL and various IT courses from Stoke-On-Trent College, alongside a focus on practical skills through the Managed Services Talent Programme at Atos.
