Steven Mills

Steven Mills has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Steven started their career in 2007 with the Royal Air Force (RAF), where they served as a Commissioned Officer and later progressed to the roles of Squadron Pilot, Training and Testing Officer, and Executive Officer. During their time in the RAF, they gained experience in leadership, resource management, and operational planning, including deployments to the Caribbean and Kabul, Afghanistan.

In 2017, Steven took a break from their military career and started their own business called The Bagel Bus, where they served as the Business Owner, Finance Manager, and Chef. The Bagel Bus offered mobile catering services with locally sourced ingredients.

Returning to the corporate world, Steven joined Barclays UK in 2018 for a military internship. Steven then transitioned to SecureCloud+ in 2019, where they held various roles such as Transition Delivery Lead, Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, and currently is the Strategic Defence Lead.

Overall, Steven Mills has a strong background in leadership, operational management, and entrepreneurship, with experience in both military and civilian sectors.

Steven Mills completed a PGDip in Strategic Leadership & Management at Stratford Business School in 2018. In 2016, they earned a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training from the Defence Centre of Training Support. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership from the Institute of Leadership and Management. Steven's earlier education includes attending Stamford Endowed Schools from 1999 to 2006, where they studied Physics, Mathematics, and Design. Steven also obtained the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from The Service Desk Institute (SDI) in February 2020.
