Fred Blaise

Fred Blaise is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in product security and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Special Advisor at SecureFlag, Fred has previously held significant roles, including Senior Director of Product Security at Thomson Reuters, where management of a global product security team enhanced the security of over 400 applications. Fred contributed actively to the OWASP Foundation as a maintainer of the DefectDojo tool and directed product security at CloudBees, effectively leading security efforts within prominent software solutions. With a solid background that includes pivotal positions at Philip Morris International and Kudelski Security, Fred's expertise encompasses risk management, compliance, and security integration throughout the software development lifecycle. Fred holds a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
